We are happy to announce that we are working with Desert Mission Neighborhood Renewal (DMNR) in a unique partnership to bring additional affordable housing to Sunnyslope in neighborhoods targeted for revitalization.
DMNR is a non-profit community development corporation dedicated to helping create healthy, safe and stable neighborhoods that can thrive. The organization serves the neighborhoods of Sunnyslope and North Mountain in central Phoenix, providing a wide range of services to community members. DMNR is part of the HonorHealth company (the result of a merger between John C. Lincoln Health Network and Scottsdale Healthcare).
With both Boards’ approvals, we (as the developer) and DMNR (as the outreach and education partner) have moved forward with an MOU to collaborate on a “green” townhouse development for 20 units at 17th Ave. and Cholla and another 40 units at 6th Ave. and Mission Lane.
Our team is in the process of reviewing plans and applying for pre-development funding, with completion anticipated for 2017-2018.
