Do you know a “Good Neighbor?”
You know the type – the under-appreciated and sometimes overlooked. Someone who waters your garden. Who pulls in your recycling bin on those 115˚ days. Or maybe they’re the type who just throws a really good party.
Whoever it is, and for whatever the reason, this is your chance to give them some recognition. To celebrate NeighborWorks Week, we are hosting our annual Good Neighbor Initiative. When you nominate your neighbor, they can win a one-of-a-kind front porch bench – made amazing by a local artist!
Each June, NeighborWorks America and its network of local organizations mobilize tens of thousands of volunteers, businesspeople, neighbors, friends, and local and national elected and civic leaders in a week of neighborhood change and awareness. Help us and NeighborWorks celebrate NeighborWorks Week with the Good Neighbor Initiative!
Interested? Nominate* that neighbor you know and love:
- Tell us in in five sentences or less why your nomination deserves to be a “Good Neighbor” front porch bench recipient
- Email your nomination to goodneighbor@trellisaz.org
- Please include your name, address and phone number and the first name of the neighbor you are nominating
