Maricopa residents get help to pay off auto-title loans

Get up to $4,000 to pay off a car title loans if you are a resident of Maricopa county. Trellis has been helping individuals and families learn how to manage their finance with the ultimate goal to purchase their first home. However, sometimes people turn to predatory lenders when they need money for an emergency and these types of loans can prevent them from becoming financially stable enough to buy a home.

One way we help is that we are proud to promote the Lend a Hand program.  Thanks to partners like the Arizona Community Foundation, MariSol Federal Credit Union, the Phoenix IDA, and Take Charge America individuals can payoff title loans, build an emergency savings plan and plan for a secure future.

If you or someone you know is struggling to pay your car title loan, apply now. Not only can you get a loan with a 15% interest rate from Marisol Credit Union, but they will also help you start a savings account. The program also provides free credit counseling to help you get on a path to healthy credit and financial success.

For more information in English or Spanish, go to www.takechargeamerica.org/lendahand or call 1-877-822-2410 and a credit counselor can help you. The program is provided by four community groups:  Arizona Community Foundation, MariSol Federal Credit Union, the Phoenix IDA, and Take Charge America.
