SUMMARY

Responsible Individual will actively manage the activities of the Trellis and lending affiliates/subsidiaries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Manage the activities of the lending department

· Provide Arizona licensing support services.

· Shall be available to respond to any inquiries regarding Arizona loans from the Arizona Department of Financial institutions and be present to assist with state audits and examinations.

· Oversee the review and audit of quarterly Arizona loan log for compliance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Have three (3) years of verifiable work experience as a Mortgage Banker/lender or equivalent experience in a related business originating loans. Must be a full-time resident of the State of Arizona; Not be an independent contractor; have a stable financial background as indicated by credit report and employment history;

College degree and/or a minimum of 3 years of mortgage lending and customer service experience preferred;

Experience with Excel and Word required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Strong spoken and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret loan documents, disclosures, loan program information and credit reports is essential to this position. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Fluency and literacy in Spanish and English is preferred, but not required. Ability to effectively present information to senior management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratios and percent.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Knowledge of lending regulations and laws.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS

Tactful and empathetic; comfortable working with diverse communities and clients. Ability to work with the complex demands of customers and to resolve customer problems and concerns. Ability to work with the needs of internal customers to support staff in their work with clients. Ability to work collaboratively across departmental lines.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficient in Word, Excel, Desktop Underwriter, DBase management, customer tracking on client management system, DU and LP software, use of internal e-mail system and ability to learn and use new computer systems.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Employee must present proof of automobile insurance coverage. Minimum liability limits shall be $100,000 bodily injury and $25,000 property damage coverage or such limits as deemed appropriate by the CEO/President.
