
Robin has established an accomplishments-driven career highlighted with diverse experience, rapid acceleration and growing success in the non-profit sector. At Trellis, Robin will be responsible to strategically plan and develop a sustainable culture of philanthropy, and implement proactive charitable giving strategies to secure donors, diversify revenue streams, ensure non-profit compliance and build new partnerships in support of the Trellis affordable housing non-profit mission.
Robin has a proven track record of increasing revenues, building strong and lasting relationships with fellow colleagues, community and business partners, volunteers, public and private grant funders, philanthropic foundations and donors. With over 25 years of fundraising, legal, organizational and budget management, real estate, relationship and community building experience. Robin is also recognized for creation and implementation of non-profit fundraising annual plans, planned giving programs, major gift appeals, organizational policies, compliance procedures, best practices, streamlining of projects and for maintaining a team environment to maximize productivity and ensure excellent customer service.
Over the years, Robin has also organized, planned and been responsible for various charitable fund-raising events, nonprofit campaigns, and has secured private and public grant funding to benefit Arizona non-profit organizations. This breadth of experience has instilled multi-dimensional communication skills and an ability to recognize and implement effective strategies to help people, build community awareness and work with nonprofit organizations. Robin’s lifelong commitment to community development, fostered by her parents, and fund raising is exemplified in her ongoing service to others as a volunteer member of the Southwest Autism Research, Resource Center’s Planned Giving Professional Advisory Council, Hands On Greater Phoenix, U.S. Vets Packages from Home Programs for military families, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Consumer Self-Help Center, the Scottsdale Police Department Community Auxiliary Organization and the Arthritis Foundation.
Robin’s professional experience with individuals and families in estate planning, elder law, probate, real estate transactions, tax, corporate and consumer finance matters has allowed her to carry forward her parents’ core values, pursue her passion to serve others and improve her community and society in general.
Robin currently holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation, a continuing professional designation and ongoing annual curriculum certification that synthesizes the arts and sciences of philanthropic planning, including taxation, finance, fundraising, purposeful planning, family office dynamics, psychology, and strategic philanthropy. The CAP® designation has provided her expertise to support fundraising initiatives and further build and integrate charitable planning structures to support the Trellis mission, and help donors achieve a positive impact for themselves, their family members, Trellis, and the Arizona community at large
Robin is licensed to practice law before the Mississippi and Arizona Supreme Courts, United States District Court for the District of Arizona and the United States Tax Court, and a currently inactive Arizona Realtor.
Robin looks forwards to blending her professional background in nonprofit fundraising, planned giving, non-profit organizational management and law to bring a unique perspective to the Trellis organization while continuing her family’s legacy of service.
