Trellis Celebrates 45 Years of Helping Communities

For forty-five years, Trellis (formerly known as NHS Phoenix) has been helping to revitalize communities and to assist the under-served members of those communities get access to classes and programs that improve their finances and ultimately lead to stable homeownership.

How We Help

Through Trellis, people can take an array of financial literacy courses, as well as classes that explain the steps necessary to purchase a home and classes designed to educate people on the responsibilities of staying in a home.

The knowledgeable and compassionate counselors at Trellis help connect potential home buyers with programs that provide downpayment assistance and flexible loan programs to enable them to qualify.

Additionally, Trellis revitalizes communities by building new houses in existing communities, as well as constructing completely new developments.

Trellis also partners with local and state authorities to provide financial assistance to those impacted by COVID-19, and has helped sponsor programs like “Meals from the Mile” which provides food and recognition to the healthcare heroes at Banner University Medical Center.
