Trellis President & CEO, Patricia Garcia Duarte, Attends Georgetown University’s New Strategies’ Symposium

Trellis and Patricia Garcia Duarte, President & CEO, are honored by the funding provided by JPMorgan Chase & Co. to attend the virtual New Strategies, an advanced online training program that took place end of May to mid-June by Georgetown University’s Business for Impact. Patricia Garcia Duarte joined other nonprofit executives from around the country to participate in New Strategies’ Symposium specifically designed to help nonprofits increase and diversify their revenue streams.

Patricia learned from leaders in the nonprofit and philanthropy fields, Georgetown business school faculty and each other on topics ranging from cause marketing, earned revenue, using predictive analytics to increase individual giving levels, deferred and major gift funding options, virtual fund raising, alliances and mergers and more. Ongoing access to the expert speakers and networking among the nonprofit executives is a hallmark of New Strategies.

“I feel energized to implement new strategies to help increase individual donations to help with neighborhood stabilization and revitalization efforts” said Patricia Garcia Duarte. “We’re grateful to JPMorgan Chase & Co., which enabled Trellis to plan for the future and put what I learned into action”.
