U.S. Bank Partners With Trellis to Offer Down Payment Assistance

This part of U.S. Bank’s Rebuild and Transform Fund will be used to address systemic economic and racial inequities in housing

U.S. Bank has granted Trellis a large sum of money to be used as down payment assistance for Phoenix-area homebuyers.

Who Qualifies for These Funds

To qualify for the down payment assistance, borrowers must be purchasing an owner-occupied home. Additionally, recipients must first complete a Home Buyer Education class offered by Trellis or meet one-on-one with a Trellis counselor.

“Our focus is on listening to and learning from community leaders and responding to critical needs,“ said Reba Dominski, Chief Social Responsibility Officer for U.S. Bank. “Today we are proud to share the details of our philanthropic giving to 10 additional markets across the country that historically experience low economic mobility. We are investing in organizations led by people of color and providing general operating funds because we trust community leaders to know how, when and where to use these funds for the greatest impact.”
