What’s New at Trellis

Trellis officially welcomes 4 new members to our Board of Directors. Diverse and accomplished, they bring a wealth of experiences and passion for the work that we do.

ELORA DIAZ is an Arizona native, a first-generation college graduate and a first-time home buyer in the Garfield neighborhood. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Arizona State University and is now working towards her Doctorate in Education Leadership. She was the founder of a county-wide collective impact coalition, Opportunities for Youth, which sought to decrease the youth disconnection rate in Maricopa County. She is currently teaching 9th grade and serves as a Policy Advisor to Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton.

 

CHRISTOF KAISER is a native of Germany with a Bachelor of Science Degree in design from Arizona State University and a Master’s Degree in architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. He is currently a Principal at Kaiserworks LLC, a Phoenix-based studio with a reputation for holistic design in architecture, interiors, product design and branding.  In his spare time he graciously shares his expertise as an active volunteer in the community and abroad.

 

ELIZABETH CHAVEZ, a bi-lingual, lifelong resident of the Garfield neighborhood, has more than 30 years of office administration experience and is currently responsible for Hannay Realty Advisors corporate office administration in Phoenix, Denver, Chicago and Las Vegas. She also manages the day-to-day operations of Audio Visual Experts, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hannay Realty Advisors. Elizabeth comes with a wealth of marketing and sales expertise.

 

 

ABRAHAM B. JAMES III is a native of Georgia and grew up in a small community 50 miles south of Savannah. He is a descendant of Africans brought to coastal Georgia well over 250 years ago.  He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in architecture from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Master of Real Estate Development from the School of Policy, Planning, and Development at the University of Southern California. He is a partner at C&H Associates LLC in Phoenix and is extremely active in the Green Gables Neighborhood Association, as well as various city and state boards, commissions and committees.
