TrixieAnn Golberg

Chief Executive Officer

Trixie brings over three decades of leadership and economic and community development experience within social-enterprise and philanthropic organizations. Her leadership roles have provided her with a deep understanding of community-led development, cross-sector strategies, workforce and business development, and community and human services delivery. Trixie has demonstrated extensive community-focused leadership skills, working to build strategic partnerships that drive community development with nonprofit organizations, industry partners, and public sector officials.

“Housing availability and affordability is at a crisis level impacting far too many Arizona working families. I am excited to join one of the state’s premier non-profits dedicated to making the path to successful home ownership possible for all,” said Trixie. “There is an urgent need to make home ownership attainable and communities sustainable. Trellis can play a key role in so many ways.”

In her recent work in the Phoenix area, Trixie led TAGG Social Enterprise Consulting assisting nonprofits as they navigate change. Previously, Golberg was the long-time CEO of Lifetrack, a Minnesota social service non-profit advancing economic opportunity for diverse populations throughout the state. Prior to taking that role Trixie was the CEO of the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation where she led the donor supported foundation that played a leading role in the economic growth in south central and south eastern Minnesota.

“We are thrilled to have Trixie take the helm of Trellis,” said Marcia Busching, Trellis Board Chair. “She brings deep experience in nonprofit leadership, including strategic planning to provide crucial refocusing on mission, resource development and diversification, and building innovative cross-sector partnerships.”

“We look forward to working with Trixie to further grow the organization and continue to positively impact affordable home ownership in the Greater Phoenix area.”

Trellis, founded in 1975, provides home ownership counseling, financial access to home ownership through lending and down-payment assistance, and increases stock of affordable homes through rehabilitation and construction. In 2023 Trellis helped over 1,000 families in the greater Phoenix area achieve or prepare to achieve the dream of home ownership. Trellis will mark 50 years of creating pathways home in 2025.
