We provide homeownership counseling, financial access and neighborhood development

We make the dream of homeownership come true.

Trellis (originally started as Neighborhood Housing Services of Phoenix) was formed in 1975 with help from the City of Phoenix and NeighborWorks America. NeighborWorks America is a national nonprofit organization, federally funded by appropriations from Congress that provide financial support, technical assistance and training for community-based revitalization efforts in all 50 states.

Access to homeownership is for all of us. Individuals and families become stable and more economically secure; neighborhoods become vital, active communities; and cities gain jobs and tax revenues. It’s an investment with positive returns for everyone.

Our pillars make homeownership a reality

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Since we established our roots in 1975, Trellis has made stable homes possible. We provide homeownership counseling, financial access and neighborhood development. Regardless of income, education or background, we help individuals and families across Arizona. As a NeighborWorks America member and a Freddie Mac Borrower Help Center, we are connected to a strong network spanning all 50 states.

No matter who you are, homebuyer education is essential to sustainable homeownership. Our certified advisors can help you. You’ll learn about the advantages and disadvantages of owning a home, as well as the steps and costs involved in purchasing. Plus, you’ll walk away with a complete picture of your financial situation and an action path to achieve your goals.

We open doors, making the most appropriate sources of capital available to you. Buying a home may be the largest investment you will ever make. It's an exciting and thrilling experience, but can also be overwhelming. That's why Trellis is here to help guide you through making informed decisions.
